God spoke, and it was!
How powerful those words, and vast?
Is it no wonder that He said
Guard your mouth, it is your bread?
Why would you damn yourself,
your life, your walk?
NO! Speak life,
for a posture upright and tall.
For life, and godly pertaining,
it is the tongue
that requires training,
like a soldier and athlete one.
So working vast, the powerful Word says:
Take hope, taste and see…
He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
The Word brings healing and teaching:
Life and death lies in
the power of the tongue
he that uses it much
will eat its fruit as such.
Sharper than a double edged sword
rightly dividing truth,
the Word stops strife
Realigning the relational cord.
The Word is the one that came,
the Word is risen!
Now alive, call on Him!
He is answering!
Guard your heart,
for from it springs your life.
Wash the face, wash the head
sanctify and clothe the flesh.
Bridle your horse,
renew the mind,
catch those words,
turn them right.
Choose your hearts feeding.
His powerful Word
is turning darkness to light,
and what was to a new being
